William Saliba speaks out on Arsenal future amid transfer speculation
Saliba has confirmed his intention to stay at Arsenal.

William Saliba has confirmed his intention to stay at Arsenal in contrary to various reports that suggest he wants to leave the club.
Saliba is yet to make his competitive Arsenal debut and has been loaned out to three different clubs in France since he joined from Saint-Etienne in 2019.
Mikel Arteta has voiced out his intentions to keep the 21-year-old central defender and believes that he will have a role to play at the club next season after an impressive season at Marseille.
Saliba had another impressive stint in France, winning the Ligue 1 young player of the year award. However, there have been reports stating that the French defender wants an exit to opt for a club where he is guaranteed to start.

“My plan is to fight, work with team. win as much as possible and grow more. it feels good to be back through pre season. I’m very excited to continue training and play in friendlies”. Saliba said.
“When I was on loan I watched every single [Arsenal] game because when I was there some players weren’t. I watched the games to see how they played, so when I was back it would be easier to play with those I hadn’t met before”.
This confirms that Saliba is keen on staying and proving himself, in contrast to reports claiming he wants to leave.
