Report: Two top Arsenal players to leave club in next few days
Arsenal has been very busy in the summer transfer window this year and its now reported that the gunners will sell two top players in the coming days as they continue to revamp Mikel Arteta’s side.
Arsenal has so far completed the signing of five players in this summer transfer window in the continuation of trying to revamp the squad to mould it to the vision of Mikel Arteta. The gunners will of course have to sell some players since they have brought in a lot of players and current reports show that two players will likely leave the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira has fallen off from his first explosive season at the Emirates Stadium in which he was very impressive and got compared to the likes of Kante of Chelsea. Torreira has failed to get a starting spot under Mikel Arteta in the time he was at the Emirates Stadium and he has been loaned out abroad in the last two years since he has been open about his failure to settle in England.
A report by Italian journalist Alessio Lento has confirmed that Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira is very close to signing for Galatasaray and that he will be given a three year deal with an option for another season. This will see the Uruguayan international finally say goodbye to Arsenal who he has had a rocky relationship with for the last few years.
Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno lost his number one goalkeeper spot to Aaron Ramsdale last season and he has in this summer transfer window offered himself out in the transfer market with the hope of leaving the Emirates Stadium in this summer transfer window.
Bernd Leno wants to find a new club that will offer him game time as he will want to be in the squad of Germany that plays in the 2022 World Cup. Fulham have been one of the clubs most interested in the player in the past few weeks and it looks like the deal is finally getting completed as The Athletic has confirmed that Arsenal have reached an agreement with The Cottagers of £8million.
