Granit Xhaka sends a message to Arsenal fans after draw with Southampton

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has sent a message to the supporters of his club after the gunners dropped two points against Southampton on Sunday.

Arsenal has been impressive this season as they have only lost once and made one draw and that has been thanks to impressive performances from some players such as Granit Xhaka who was pretty unpopular with the fans some few years back. Granit Xhaka was in the Arsenal squad that faced Southampton and he made a significant contribution in that game despite some of his teammates having stinkers.

Granit Xhaka has surprised everyone with the progress that he has made this season as he has not only improved his defensive game but also become a goal scorer for the gunners that is always a threat in the box. Xhaka went on the score sheet on Wednesday in Arsenal’s UEFA Europa League game against PSV and he scored at the weekend against Southampton by putting in a calm finish to a cross from Ben White.

The gunners were unable to walk away with all the three points on Sunday as Granit Xhaka’s goal was cancelled out in the second half when Armstrong equalized for the home side. Granit Xhaka has become a fan favourite in a few weeks this season and he on Sunday sent a message to the supporters after they dropped two points against The Saints.

“We’re all frustrated not to get three points today – hard work for the upcoming games starts tomorrow morning. Need to get winning again ASAP ” said Granit Xhaka on Instagram.
