Arsenal are currently on top of the Premier League table after 14 games and Mikel Arteta has opened up about how it feels.
Arsenal has surprised everyone this season as they have found themselves in the first position on the Premier League table with five points ahead of defending Champions Manchester City. Arsenal started the season with only the Premier League top four finish being their only target of this year’s campaign but they have had such a fantastic start that the fans wish to start believing that their squad could be among the title challengers. Arsenal supporters watched Manchester City’s game against Brentford and they were very happy to see the bees win as this helped them get far ahead of the Champions on the Premier League table.
Arsenal went five points ahead of Manchester City on Saturday when they beat Wolves 2-0 and Mikel Arteta who faced the media after the game was asked how it felt to be on the top of the league after game week 14.
“It’s great to be where we are. We are enjoying that moment, and we have a big break. We have to reflect on what we are doing, and be very much prepared for what is going to come after the World Cup.” Mikel Arteta told Arsenal Media.
“But, our aim is to play better as a team every single day; to have better tools to do what we want to do on that pitch. I can say that it has been phenomenal to work with these players and staff.”
