Arsenal completed the signing of Gabriel Magalhaes in the 2021 summer transfer window while Gabriel Jesus was bought from Manchester City this year but what’s interesting about both deals is that the gunners were facing stiff competition from many other top European clubs for the signature of these two. A new report has now revealed the person that was very instrumental in bringing these two players to the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal has been rebuilding its squad over the last two years and it’s so satisfying for the supporters to finally see the results of all that hard work, and fans will be happy that the arrival of new wonderful players such as Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Magalhaes was handled well when some other big six sides have been heavily criticised for making poorly planned acquisitions.

A new report by The Telegraph has confirmed that the person that was very instrumental in bringing Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Magalhaes was none other than Arsenal technical director Edu Gaspar who has been leading the off the ball business of the club in the past few weeks. The two players were being sought by many other top European clubs that would have had some more lucrative things to offer such as UEFA Champions League but the fans will be appreciative of Edu Gaspar for having made them choose the Emirates Stadium.
