Last week was both a good and a bad time for Arsenal as it saw them defeat Tottenham Hotspur at its home turf for the first time in years but they however lost their main January transfer window target Mykhaylo Mudryk to their London rivals Chelsea. Arsenal have begun a search for a new target before the end of the winter transfer window.

Arsenal are in the need for a new attacker this month since Gabriel Jesus is still months away after sustaining an injury while on international duty for Brazil national football team at the World Cup. The gunners have reportedly identified Leandro Trossard and Brighton & Hove Albion have set an asking price of  £25millon according to The Metro even though the player will be out of contract next year.

It is claimed that Leandro Trossard might not be in good terms with his manager at the moment due to a training ground incident and his agent claimed that the player was humiliated by the Brighton & Hove Albion boss Roberto De Zerbi. Though it would be interesting if Arsenal does go through with this as the above report confirms that the asking price is too high for what the gunners would be willing to spend on him.
