Mikel Arteta cleverly comments on losing out on Mykhaylo Mudryk to Chelsea
Arsenal were a few days ago surprised to see themselves lose Mykhaylo Mudryk to Chelsea and Mikel Arteta has commented on this situation.

Arsenal were heavily linked with a move for the then Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk for many weeks and their interest was indeed genuine as they came close to completing the deal for €95million until the unexpected happened. Arsenal supporters were fully convinced that Mykhaylo Mudryk would soon be a gunner but were left surprised to see Chelsea swoop in and sign him, and Mikel Arteta has now also made his comments on this.
Arsenal were in the market for a new winger to bolster their squad this season and Mikel Arteta had selected Mykhaylo Mudryk as the perfect player that fits his plans but the North Londoners however lost him to their London rivals, and will now have to dive deep into the market for a new player to try to bring to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal played Tottenham Hotspur yesterday and won the game 2-0 which saw Mikel Arteta get asked by the press about losing out on Mykhaylo Mudryk to Chelsea. And here’s what he had to say.
“We have excellent players. We want to improve our squad in this transfer window and when I say we, myself, the coaching staff, the staff, the players, the board, and ownership. We are all in this together, but we will do the deals that we can do and that we believe is right for the football club.” Mikel Arteta told Arsenal Media.
