Predicted Arsenal lineup to face Newcastle with all eyes on Saka and Martinelli
Arsenal will today take on highly motivated Newcastle United and here’s the predicted lineup with all eyes on Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.
The Premier League returns today and Arsenal will tonight take on Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium with the hope of continuing their winning streak that they have started post 2022 World Cup. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will once again have to pick his best starting eleven that can get the three points and we take a look at that possible team he might select with all eyes on Gabriel Martinelli & Bukayo Saka.
PREDICTED ARSENAL LINEUP TO FACE NEWCASTLE UNITED
TEXT FORMAT: Ramsdale, Zinchenko, Gabriel, Saliba, White, Xhaka, Partey, Martinelli, Odegaard, Saka, Nketiah
FORMATION: 4-2-3-1
GOALKEEPING
Aaron Ramsdale will be in goal today despite conceding in the previous game because he is Arteta’s first choice.
DEFENCE
If it ain’t broke, why fix it? The defence consisting of Zinchenko, Gabriel, Saliba and White has been Arsenal’s best defence in a while, and so Arteta will continue using it.
CENTRAL MIDFIELD
Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka have been rock solid together for Arsenal this season and they will never miss in Mikel Arteta’s squad.
ATTACKING MIDFIELD
Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka have been Arsenal’s best performing players this season and all eyes will be on them as they are the current star players. Martinelli and Saka will be on the flanks while Martin Odegaard will be the central attacking midfielder.
STRIKING
Eddie Nketiah has taken over after the injury of Gabriel Jesus and so he will likely start as centre forward against Newcastle United.
