The good news for Arsenal is that Thomas Partey is likely to be back in action for the Gunners this weekend in their match against Leicester City as per Evening Standard. The Ghanaian midfielder has been out of action since picking up a thigh injury during training ahead of their match against Manchester City.

Partey’s return could be a major boost for Arsenal, who have been struggling to keep clean sheets in recent weeks. The Gunners have won once and lost once in the two matches that the 29 year old has missed but what has been clear in both games is that their midfield has been letting in goals. Partey’s presence in midfield could help to provide some much-needed stability and creativity to the team’s performance.

The news of Partey’s potential return will also come as a relief to Arsenal fans, who have seen their team struggle without him in recent weeks. With Partey back in the side, they will be hoping that he can help them get back on track against Leicester City on Saturday at the King Power Stadium as they hope to stay on top of the Premier League table.

Arsenal’s new January signing Jorginho has filled in for Thomas Partey in his absence and he has been pretty good but the fans will hope that the Ghanaian international comes back to the squad as he has been one of their best players this season.
