Arsenal recently faced Aston Villa away from home on Saturday and Mikel Arteta has opened up on the player that the gooners will soon love.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that the fans are going to love Jorginho after his goal in the 4-2 win over Aston Villa. The Italian midfielder joined Arsenal at the end of January transfer window and has already made an impact with his performance.
Jorginho scored a dramatic late goal to secure all three points for Arsenal against Aston Villa. His shot hit the crossbar and onto goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez before ending up in the back of the net. Arteta was full of praise for Jorginho, saying via The Metro “They are going to fall in love with him (Jorginho). The same way the players have and the coaching staff have here because of his personality, how humble he is, because he makes everybody better and that’s a huge quality.”
The 31-year-old midfielder has already made a big impression on his teammates with his work ethic and attitude. He has been praised for his passing ability, vision, and defensive work rate which have helped Arsenal become more solid in midfield. Jorginho is also known for his leadership qualities which have been evident since he joined Arsenal. He is often seen talking to teammates on and off the pitch, helping them understand their roles better and motivating them to perform better.
Jorginho’s arrival at Arsenal has been a huge boost for Arteta’s side as they look to challenge for the title this season. His experience at Chelsea will be invaluable as Arsenal look to build on their impressive start under Arteta this season. With Jorginho in their ranks, Arsenal fans can look forward to some exciting times ahead as they aim to challenge for silverware once again.
