Bukayo Saka reveals the real truth behind his interesting celebration on Saturday
Arsenal was on Saturday hosted by Aston Villa and the gunners left with all the three points thanks to impressive performances such as that of Bukayo Saka.
Bukayo Saka has revealed the truth behind his interesting celebration against Aston Villa. The Arsenal winger celebrated by placing his right hand on the corner flag and his left on his hip while basking in his glory.
Saka was the star of the show as Arsenal scored two injury-time goals to beat Aston Villa and end their winless run. The Gunners were twice behind at Villa Park as first Ollie Watkins and Philippe Coutinho put Unai Emery’s side in front. Arsenal, however, equalised on both occasions through Saka and Oleksandr Zinchenko to level the game with 30 minutes to go. The match finally ended 4-2 in favour of Arsenal.
The 21-year-old has now revealed via social media how that was the same celebration Arsenal’s legend and all time goalscorer Thierry Henry would usually use while playing for the gunners and France. He said: “Honouring the King!”

Saka has been one of Arsenal’s standout performers this season, having made 23 appearances in the league, scoring nine goals and providing eight assists. His impressive performances have seen him linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium but that will never happen as he’s much valued by the North Londoners.
The youngster is clearly a fan favourite at Arsenal, having grown up supporting the club since he was a child. His celebration against Aston Villa showed just how much he loves playing for them and how much respect he has for one of their greatest ever players in Thierry Henry. It is clear that Saka is destined for great things at Arsenal if he continues to perform like he did against Aston Villa.
