How Arteta’s Arsenal will lineup with Jorginho
Arsenal completed the signing of Jorginho from Chelsea in the January transfer window and here’s how Arteta’s side could lineup with him.

Mikel Arteta was busy in the January transfer window, as he signed Jorginho from Chelsea to bolster his midfield. The 31-year-old Italian international brings a wealth of experience and quality to the Arsenal midfield, and Arteta will be looking to make the most of his new signing.
HOW ARSENAL WILL LINEUP WITH JORGINHO

HOW ARTETA WILL LINEUP WITH JORGINHO
The most likely formation for Arteta to use with Jorginho is a 4-3-3. This formation allows for a strong defensive base in midfield, while also giving Arsenal plenty of attacking options going forward.
At the back, Arsenal will likely stick with their usual back four of Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba and Oleksandr Zinchenko. This gives them a solid defensive base from which to build their attacks.
In midfield, Jorginho will be the anchor man in front of the back four. He will be tasked with breaking up opposition attacks and providing a platform for Arsenal’s own attacks. Alongside him will be Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard, who will provide energy and creativity in midfield.
In attack, Eddie Nketiah will lead the line as the central striker. On either side of him will be Bukayo Saka on the right and Gabriel Martinelli on the left. Both players are capable of creating chances for Nketiah as well as getting into goal scoring positions themselves.
This 4-3-3 formation gives Arsenal plenty of options going forward while also providing them with a solid defensive base in midfield. With Jorginho at its heart, this lineup should allow Arteta’s side to play an attractive brand of football while also being defensively sound when needed.
