Arsenal legend reveals the one player that can make them fail to win the league
Arsenal are currently first on the Premier League table and gunners legend Ian Wright has opened up about the player that can make them fail to win the Premier League title this season.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has expressed his concern over the potential loss of key players to injuries during the current international break. The Gunners are currently leading the Premier League table with 69 points after 28 games, but are closely followed by second-placed Manchester City, who have 61 points and a game in hand.
Wright believes that Arsenal cannot afford to lose players like Thomas Partey, who has been a key figure for the team this season. The Ghanaian midfielder joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid in a few years ago and has since become a fan favourite the club.
“You don’t want to lose someone like Thomas Partey for any amount of time. We lost William Saliba. But they seem to have taken the [injury] hits up until this point,” Wright said on The Kelly & Wrighty Show.

Arsenal have had their fair share of injury problems this season, with several key players missing games due to various fitness issues. However, despite these setbacks, they have managed to maintain their position at the top of the table.
“That’s one thing people criticised Arsenal for and said, ‘let’s see when you get injuries to your key players’ – we’ve had injuries to all of our main players, and still amongst it,” Wright added.
The former Arsenal striker also highlighted the importance of finishing strong in the remaining games of the season, as pressure mounts on teams competing for the title.
“It’s now how they finish off with the pressure that is going to ramp up for these last games with the injuries that may come,” he said.
Most Arsenal players, including Partey, have been allowed to go represent their countries during this international break. However, there is always a risk of injury when players travel long distances and play multiple games in a short period of time.
Arsenal will be hoping that their players return fit and ready for their next game. The Gunners will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the table and take a step closer to winning their first Premier League title since 2004.
