Jakub Kiwior makes a statement on him not getting any chance from Arteta since arrival
Arsenal completed the signing of Jakub Kiwior in the January transfer window and the Polish defender has made a statement on him not getting a chance in the Premier League.
Arsenal’s January signing Jakub Kiwior is still waiting for his Premier League debut, two months after joining the club. The 23-year-old centre-back expressed his eagerness to play and his patience in waiting for his chance.
In an interview, Kiwior spoke about Mikel Arteta’s attention to detail and how he takes everything into account. He also mentioned that he thought he would get a chance if Arsenal were leading by two or three goals, but he is still waiting patiently.
“What does Mikel Arteta pay attention to? I think he pays attention to everything. I thought that if we were leading by two or three goals I would get a chance, however, I am waiting patiently. Everyone would like to play.” said Jakub Kiwior as per The Mirror.
“When you look at all of Arsenal, they have a very strong squad for the Premier League. They want to play young players, they are not afraid to bet on them. I took that into account when I came here.”
“You can see that Arsenal’s a very big club. Here, there’s a lot of the ball, a lot of small games – particularly everything is done with the ball.”
Kiwior also praised Arsenal as a very big club and noted that there is a lot of ball work and small games during training sessions. He seems to be enjoying his time at the club and is eager to make his mark on the pitch.
It remains to be seen when Kiwior will make his debut for Arsenal, but fans will undoubtedly be keeping an eye out for this promising young player. With Arteta’s attention to detail and willingness to give young players a chance, it may only be a matter of time before Kiwior gets his opportunity to shine in the Premier League.
