With Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table, the stakes are high as they gear up for their match against Liverpool on Sunday. Manager Mikel Arteta is expected to continue with his tried and tested 4-3-3 formation which has served the team well for most of the season so far.

ARSENAL PREDICTED LINEUP TO FACE LIVERPOOL

Arsenal predicted lineup to face Liverpool

Aaron Ramsdale; Oleksandr Zinchenko, Gabriel Magalhaes, Rob Holding, Ben White; Granit Xhaka, Thomas Partey, Odegaard; Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, Leandro Trossard

One of the most non surprising thing in the predicted Arsenal lineup for this game is the inclusion of Aaron Ramsdale in goal. The English goalkeeper has been in excellent form this season as he’s Arteta’s first choice goalkeeper.

The defence will feature a back four consisting of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Gabriel Magalhaes, Rob Holding, and Ben White. They will have the tough task of dealing with the likes of Mohamed Salah, one of Liverpool’s prolific attackers.

In midfield, we expect to see Granit Xhaka, Thomas Partey, and Norwegian playmaker Martin Odegaard. Odegaard has been in excellent form this season, and his creativity could be vital in unlocking the Liverpool defence. Partey and Xhaka will provide the grit and physicality needed to battle Liverpool’s midfield.

Upfront, we predict the inclusion of exciting young Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli alongside Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus.

Given Liverpool’s impressive home record at Anfield Stadium, the pressure will be on Arsenal to perform at their best. However, with the likes of Jesus, Odegaard, and Martinelli in good form, there is cause for optimism among the Arsenal faithful.

Whether the predicted Arsenal lineup is indeed the one that takes to the field on Sunday remains to be seen, but if Arteta’s men can recreate the kind of performances that have taken them to the top of the league table so far this season, then they will stand a good chance of coming away with a positive result against one of the strongest teams in the league.
