Bukayo Saka reveals the pain he is currently going through
Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka was one of Mikel Arteta’s best players this season and the English international has opened up on the pain he is currently going through.

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has expressed his disappointment after the gunners failed to win the Premier League title this season. Despite being in a fierce title race with Manchester City, Arsenal lost the trophy to The Citizens after suffering a defeat against Nottingham Forest in their 37th game week. Arsenal currently has 81 points while Manchester City have 89 points. Manchester City are this year’s Premier League Champions even though we still have the last game of the Premier League season yet to be played.
“Obviously, speaking about this season, it hurts a lot, it really hurts so much to even think about how we’ve ended this season and what could have been,” said Saka telling Ian Wright in a video shared by the club.
Saka, who has scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists in the Premier League this season, also gave hope to Arsenal fans by saying that the club is going in the right direction. “One thing I can say is, since the last two or three years I’ve been playing, I’ve seen this team and club grow in the right direction,” he added.

“One thing the club, the fans can be excited about is that obviously, we are going in the right direction if you look at the last two or three years. I think when the dust settles and all the negative emotions are out, I think everyone can look at us and be excited about the future.”
Despite missing out on winning their first Premier League title since 2004, Arsenal fans can take solace in knowing that their team has made significant progress over recent years. The gunners had led the league table for 10 months this season and were considered serious contenders for winning their first title in almost two decades.
However, with Saka’s words of encouragement and optimism for next season, Arsenal fans can look forward to seeing their team continue to grow and compete for major trophies once again. With Saka’s impressive performances this season, he will undoubtedly be a key player for the gunners in their quest for success next season.
