Bukayo Saka reveals why he signed the new contract from Arsenal
Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has opened up about why he made the decision to commit his future to the Emirates Stadium for many more years.

Arsenal Football Club have announced that Bukayo Saka has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2027. The 21-year-old England international has become one of the brightest prospects in English football and has been rewarded with a new deal worth around £15million per season. The deal is for four years, with no option to extend.
Saka has been a key player for Arsenal this season, scoring 13 goals and providing 11 assists in the Premier League. His performances have helped Arsenal to challenge for the title this season, but their hopes were dashed after a defeat against Nottingham Forest in their 37th game week. Arsenal currently have 81 points while Manchester City have 88 points with a game in hand. Manchester City are this year’s Premier League Champions even though we still have one more game before the end of the Premier League season.

The young winger has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium, with several top clubs across Europe reportedly interested in signing him. However, Saka has always maintained that he only ever wanted to stay at Arsenal and win honours with the club.
“I’m just really happy. There’s been a lot of talking and it’s been a while, but I’m here now. I think this is the right club, the right place to make the next step. It’s a beautiful club – look where we are,” Saka told Arsenal Media.
Saka’s new contract is a significant boost for Arsenal, who have struggled to compete with the top teams in recent years. The club’s hierarchy has been working hard to tie down their key players to long-term deals, and Saka’s new contract is another step in the right direction.

“For me, it’s about achieving my personal ambitions; how much I push myself and demand from myself each game, week in, week out. Then I have all the right people around me in terms of family, and when I come to the training ground, my teammates, the coaching staff. I think I have everything I need to become the best player I can be, and that’s why I’m happy to stay here and be here for the future, because I really believe that we can achieve big things,” Saka added.
Arsenal fans will be delighted with the news that Saka has committed his future to the club, and they will be hoping that he can continue to develop and become a key player for years to come.
