Manchester City boss Guardiola makes statement that angers Arsenal fans
Arsenal are currently in a Premier League title race with Manchester City and this boss of The Citizens Pep Guardiola has made a statement that has angered gooners.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has caused a stir among Arsenal fans after making comments that some have deemed disrespectful towards the North London club. Speaking to reporters, Guardiola suggested that Arsenal’s recent qualification for the UEFA Champions League was a significant achievement, given their seven-year absence from the competition.
“Maybe the mood there is a bit down,” Guardiola said. “After seven years, they won the most important title – to qualify for the Champions League. Financially, for new signings…I’m pretty sure they have to be so happy, because they make an incredible achievement.”
While some Arsenal supporters may take issue with Guardiola’s tone, there can be no denying that their team has made significant progress this season. Currently sitting in second place on the Premier League table with 78 points after 34 games, Arsenal are in a title race with Manchester City, who have 79 points and one game in hand.
Despite their progress this season, however, Arsenal still face an uphill battle if they are to catch Manchester City and win their first Premier League title since 2004. With just four games remaining in the campaign and City looking imperious at times this season, it will take a monumental effort from Arteta’s men to close the gap and claim top spot.
Nevertheless, even if they fall short of winning the league this season, there is no doubt that Arsenal are moving in the right direction under Arteta’s leadership. With a solid foundation in place and a number of promising young players coming through the ranks, the future looks bright for the Gunners. And who knows – with a bit of luck and some shrewd signings in the transfer market, they may even be able to challenge for the title next season.
