Three Arsenal players get nominated for Premier League Young Player of the year

Arsenal has this afternoon received the good news of three of their players getting nominated for the Premier League Young Player of the Year.

Arsenal fans have plenty to be excited about as three of their young stars have been nominated for the Premier League Young Player of the Season award for 2022/23. Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Ødegaard, and Bukayo Saka have all had impressive seasons, contributing significantly to Arsenal’s success this year.

Gabriel Martinelli has been a revelation for Arsenal this season. The Brazilian forward has scored 15 goals and provided 5 assists in the Premier League, making him one of the most prolific young players in the league. His pace, skill, and finishing ability have made him a fan favorite at the Emirates Stadium.

Martin Ødegaard has also had an excellent season for Arsenal. The Norwegian midfielder has scored 15 goals and provided 7 assists in the Premier League this season. His creativity and vision have been crucial to Arsenal’s attacking play, and he has formed a formidable partnership with fellow midfielder Granit Xhaka.

Speaking of Bukayo Saka, the young Englishman has also been nominated for the Young Player of the Season award. Saka has scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists in the Premier League this season, making him one of Arsenal’s most consistent performers. His versatility and work rate have made him an essential player for both club and country.

Arsenal are currently in a title race as they sit second on the Premier League table with 81 points after 36 games. They are closely following first-placed Manchester City, who have 85 points plus one game in hand. The performances of Martinelli, Ødegaard, and Saka have been instrumental in keeping Arsenal in contention for their first league title since 2004.
