Revealed: The person that helped Arsenal sign Declan Rice this summer

Arsenal have all but completed the signing of midfielder Declan Rice and a report has now revealed the person that helped the gunners to sign the Englishman.

Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal Football Club, has been praised for his incredible work behind the scenes to secure the signing of Declan Rice from West Ham United. According to transfer news guru Fabrizio Romano, Arteta has been pushing the Arsenal project to Rice since January, and his efforts have finally paid off.

After weeks of negotiations, Arsenal and West Ham have now settled on a £105 million fee for Rice. The payment will be made in three instalments over 24 months, showcasing the financial commitment both clubs have made for this transfer. Rice is set to undergo a medical examination before officially signing his contract with Arsenal.

Personal terms have already been agreed upon, with Rice set to earn a minimum of £250,000 per week. This substantial salary reflects his importance to the team and highlights Arsenal’s determination to secure his services.

Rice, who is only 24 years old, had an impressive season with West Ham United. He scored four goals and provided two assists, playing a crucial role in helping the club avoid relegation. Additionally, he played a key part in West Ham’s triumph in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

With the recent signing of Kai Havertz from Chelsea for £65 million, Rice could potentially become Arsenal’s second major acquisition in this summer transfer window. The addition of these talented players demonstrates Arteta’s ambition and desire to strengthen his squad ahead of the upcoming season.

Arteta’s involvement in securing Rice’s transfer cannot be understated. His persuasive skills and belief in the Arsenal project have been instrumental in convincing Rice to join the club. The manager has been working tirelessly behind closed doors since January to make this deal happen.

The signing of Declan Rice would be a significant boost for Arsenal. Known for his versatility and defensive prowess, Rice would provide much-needed stability and quality in midfield. His ability to break up play and distribute the ball effectively would greatly enhance Arsenal’s overall performance.

Furthermore, Rice’s arrival would signal Arsenal’s intent to compete at the highest level. The club has been striving to return to its glory days, and signing top-quality players like Rice is a step in the right direction.

Overall, Mikel Arteta deserves immense credit for his efforts in securing the Declan Rice deal. His dedication and persistence have paid off, and Arsenal fans can now look forward to seeing Rice in action for their beloved club. With the addition of Rice and Havertz, Arsenal’s prospects for the upcoming season are undoubtedly looking brighter.
