Emile Smith Rowe’s thoughts on leaving Arsenal this summer finally revealed

Emile Smith Rowe’s future at Arsenal remains uncertain, despite his desire to stay at his boyhood club. While the 23-year-old attacking midfielder is keen to remain at the Emirates, a move away this summer could be on the cards if it becomes clear that there is no room for him in Mikel Arteta’s plans, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.

Smith Rowe endured a frustrating season with the Gunners, making just 19 appearances in all competitions due to persistent injuries. This lack of game time has led to speculation regarding his future, with Fulham reportedly expressing interest in securing his services.

The Cottagers, have initiated preliminary talks with Arsenal over a potential deal. A bid for Smith Rowe is believed to be in the works, with Fulham looking to add further quality to their squad for the upcoming season.

While Smith Rowe is committed to Arsenal, the lack of opportunities and the emergence of other attacking options could force him to consider a move elsewhere. He will be looking for assurances from Arteta regarding his role in the team before making a final decision on his future.

If Smith Rowe does depart, it would be a blow to Arsenal, who have invested heavily in his development. However, it could also provide the talented youngster with an opportunity to reignite his career and showcase his potential at a new club.
