Arsenal reportedly could lose millions on possible sale of star due to being annoying

Marseille’s pursuit of Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah is facing increasing difficulties, with the French club finding the Gunners’ demands “annoying,” according to L’Équipe.
Despite rejecting two previous bids, Marseille are reportedly not giving up on their pursuit of the 24-year-old, who made 27 appearances for Arsenal last season, primarily as a substitute. Although his impact was significant, contributing five goals and two assists, he was often overshadowed by the prolific Gabriel Jesus.
The French club is keen on adding Nketiah to their squad as they prepare for a challenging Champions League campaign. However, Arsenal’s valuation of the striker is proving to be a sticking point.

L’Équipe reports that the Gunners are seeking a higher fee than Marseille are willing to pay, creating a stalemate in negotiations. The club’s persistence is a testament to their belief in Nketiah’s potential, but the escalating demands from Arsenal are proving to be a frustrating obstacle.
While Nketiah’s playing time at Arsenal was limited, he demonstrated his clinical finishing and ability to make an impact from the bench. His potential and experience in the Premier League are attractive to Marseille, but the financial disparity between the two clubs is becoming a significant hurdle.
It remains to be seen whether Marseille will be able to meet Arsenal’s demands, or if the two clubs will ultimately reach an agreement. The pursuit of Nketiah is turning into a test of resolve and negotiating prowess, with both sides seeking a favorable outcome as the transfer window progresses.
