Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has delivered a message of optimism to the club’s supporters, emphasizing that the Gunners are still firmly in the hunt for the Premier League title despite recent setbacks.

Speaking about Arsenal’s position, Raya expressed confidence in the squad’s potential and determination to bounce back. “We have shown last year and this season, although we have not started as we would have liked, especially the last two games due to the circumstances of the matches, with very difficult away games with one man less,” he noted.

Arsenal’s recent Premier League outings, a 1-1 draw against Chelsea and a narrow 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United, have left the team in fourth place, nine points adrift of league leaders Liverpool. However, Raya believes there is no reason to dwell on these results. “We must not make excuses and we must move forward. We deserved more against Chelsea and Newcastle, but we will continue in the same vein, correcting errors and looking forward,” he added.

Raya also pointed to the strength and unity within the squad as a key reason for optimism. “With a very good group that we can do anything. We will be in the fight to lift the Premier League,” he declared, sending a rallying cry to fans and teammates alike.

As Arsenal prepares for their next Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest after the international break, the Gunners will need to channel Raya’s belief and resilience to keep their title aspirations alive. With plenty of matches left to play, Arsenal remains a formidable contender in the race for domestic glory.
