William Saliba reveals his Arsenal teammate as one of the best in the world
Arsenal center-back William Saliba has spoken highly of Martin Odegaard, praising the impact of the Norwegian midfielder’s return to the squad and hailing him as one of the world’s best players. The Arsenal captain recently returned from injury and has already made a significant difference in the Gunners’ performances, helping to guide the team to crucial victories.
Speaking about Odegaard, Saliba didn’t hold back his admiration. “I think Martin is one of the best midfielders in the world, and we are so happy to have him back,” he said. “We are better with him, so I hope he won’t get injured again. Of course, we have to enjoy playing with him. We can see since he’s back we are better.”
Saliba went further, ranking Odegaard among the elite in world football. “He’s top three in the world. I don’t want to put too much pressure on him, but I think top three,” Saliba stated. “I love this guy. He worked hard at the training ground, so I’m not surprised that he came back from injury like this.”
Despite being sidelined for four weeks, Odegaard’s professionalism and dedication have impressed his teammates. “It’s not easy when you haven’t played for four weeks to come back at this level,” Saliba noted. “I’m not in shock, he’s a top professional.”
Odegaard’s leadership and creativity have been instrumental for Arsenal, and his return has provided a timely boost as the Gunners continue their push in the Premier League and Champions League. With Odegaard back in the fold, Arsenal fans and players alike will be hoping to maintain their momentum and challenge for major honors this season.
