Arsenal Wonderkid Ethan Nwaneri Reveals the Secret to His Game

Arsenal’s rising star Ethan Nwaneri has revealed that he closely studies Bukayo Saka’s playing style in an effort to improve his own game.

“Yeah, 100 per cent. Coming in on his left foot, I try and see the different things Bukayo tries to do, the crosses, the shots that he takes,” Nwaneri told reporters. “I try and add it to my game because I find myself in similar positions a lot. There’s a lot of things that I can take and I’m trying to take and add them to mine.”

Nwaneri, 17, is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in Arsenal’s academy, having already made history as the youngest-ever Premier League debutant at just 15 years old. Now, he is working hard to make the step up to Mikel Arteta’s senior squad on a more regular basis.

His admiration for Saka is no surprise. The England international has developed into one of the Premier League’s best wingers, and his ability to cut inside, create chances, and score goals has made him Arsenal’s most important attacking player in recent seasons.

For Nwaneri, studying Saka’s movements, decision-making, and finishing is a smart move. The youngster plays in attacking midfield or wide positions, and if he can add Saka’s intelligence and composure in the final third to his game, he could become a key player for Arsenal in the future.

Arsenal’s track record of developing young talent is well established. The club has produced top players like Cesc Fabregas, Jack Wilshere, and now Saka, with Nwaneri potentially the next in line to break through.

With Arsenal competing on multiple fronts this season, squad depth is crucial, and if Nwaneri continues to impress in training and youth matches, he could earn more opportunities to play at senior level.

The teenager’s willingness to learn from Saka is a testament to his ambition and desire to succeed. If he continues on this path, Arsenal could have another Hale End gem ready to make an impact in the Premier League very soon.

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
