Premier League legend makes statement on Arsenal’s game against Manchester City that will excite gooners

Gary Neville has made a bold prediction ahead of Arsenal’s crucial Premier League clash with Manchester City, backing the Gunners to win comfortably. Despite City’s 3-1 victory over Chelsea last weekend, Neville believes Mikel Arteta’s side will have too much intensity for the defending champions.

“I’m going to go Arsenal 3-0,” Neville stated. “I thought City were there for the taking last Saturday against Chelsea. I was really disappointed with Chelsea. I just think Arsenal will have too much intensity, and I think it’ll be one of those games where if they get a goal, they’ll just go away from City.”

Neville’s prediction comes as Arsenal continue to push for the Premier League title, currently sitting in second place behind Liverpool. A win over City would be a massive statement in the title race, especially considering the struggles Pep Guardiola’s side have had at times this season.

Manchester City, however, showed their quality in their 3-1 win over Chelsea, demonstrating their ability to rise to the occasion. While they weren’t at their absolute best, they still managed to secure a crucial victory, which is a hallmark of champions. Arsenal will need to be at their best to break them down, but with home advantage and a strong run of form, they will fancy their chances.

Arsenal’s attack has been firing, with players like Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, and Martin Ødegaard playing key roles. The absence of Ben White due to injury is a blow, but Arteta’s side have shown they can adapt. If they can press City aggressively and take their chances, they could secure a famous victory.

Neville’s prediction will certainly add to the anticipation ahead of the match, but whether Arsenal can deliver remains to be seen. The stage is set for a massive showdown at the Emirates.
