The Europa League gets back this Thursday as Arsenal hope to put their weekend’s defeat to past as they hope to continue their good run in the European competition. The gunners are travelling to Serbia this week in their in their bid to have 100% record in the Europa League because they haven’t lost in their first two encounters against FC Koln and BATE Borisov with Arsenal obtaining three points in each matches. Arsene Wenger is expected to travel with many youngsters because he wouldn’t want to exhaust his valuable players in these Europa League matches until the group stage matches end, then he will try and focus on it so much.

Most gooners believe that Red Star Belgrade will just be too easy which they will just beat like above 2 goals but it will not be a great decision if they underestimate the Serbian Superliga runners up for last season and the other factor that the gunners will be facing is that the North Londoners will be playing in a foreign country which almost all of them have never played in so this will be the first time, not to leave the weather conditions in the country will surely affect the performance of the Arsenal team at the Rajko Mitić Stadium on the 19th of October. The gunners are going into this match with a broken heart after they embarrassingly lost to the hornets on Saturday after Watford were wrongly awarded a penalty which changed the whole match from the favour of the gunners to the hornets.

The gunners will be hoping that they get this win because they would like to finish as group leaders in order to get a fair round of 32 but they will this time be facing a real strong opponent Red Star Belgrade who are 2nd placed in their Europa League group H with four points which is just less two of the six points the gunners have. This will be the best match of the group because the first and 2nd will be facing each other so this match will certainly determine whether the gunners will be the group leaders when the Europa League group stage matches end. Red Star Belgrade are currently first in their home league while Arsenal are currently sixth on the English Premier League table.

Red Star Belgrade have been so good in their last five matches as they have won four and lost only just once in their previous five matches while Arsenal also has the same record as it has lost only once and won all the remaining four matches in their previous games.
