Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is yet to sign a new deal with the gunners as his time at the Emirates stadium nears it’s end but gooners are hugely hoping that they see some developments in the next few weeks because they wouldn’t wish to lose the German international. There has been a report by METRO that the training levels of the former Real Madrid star has decreased surprisingly because it seems like that the player may be fed up of Arsenal.
The gunners have started the season on a poor note and most football analysts believe that the German international is also one of the main reason why Arsenal has not been that impressive this season who believe that Mesut Ozil is always too soft in most matches which require physicality, leaving the player totally outclassed because he is not a type of player that can tackle or track back to defend. Mesut Ozil recently issued out a statement as he was celebrating to have spent four years at the Emirates stadium and spoke about a number of things including him saying that he does not like the criticism said by former Arsenal players towards him.(PICTURE: GETTY)
It is said that Mesut Ozil looks un happy while training with the gunners and it seems that this behavior has been acknowledged and seen by the teammates who are worried that this might be their last season playing alongside the German international. The 27 year old has been linked with a number of clubs who are said to be willing to try and bid him out of London in January and these rumours are backed up by the statement Arsene Wenger said of how the club has tried everything to make Ozil and Alexis Sanchez who both have contracts that are running out at the end of this season.
Mesut Ozil wasn’t given a start against Watford because he wasn’t ready because he was just recovering from an injury recently but most gooners were disappointed with their manager because they think it would have been better if he had started their away match against the hornets hoping that they would have not been defeated. Mesut Ozil is a fan favorite amongst the supporters so they will get angry at the Arsenal officials if they decide to sell him yet he has helped them win three FA Cup trophies. The gunners were hoping that the old Arsenal era of selling their best players had ended back in the past four years.
