The gunners have been heavily linked a number of times with Thomas Lemar for months now ever since the 2016/17 season ended.
There has been many speculations on the future of Monaco star Thomas Lemar ever since the summer transfer window ended but the Frenchman has still been getting linked to the gunners even though the January Transfer window is still one month and a half away.
There has been a new report this morning by DAILY MIRROR which says that Arsene Wenger has lost hope of getting the French international in January because he is fearful that his club would like to overprice him in order to fade off the interest from Arsenal even though the player might think about joining them gunners. This will come as bad news for gunners because they have been hoping that Thomas Lemar joins them at the Emirates stadium because they have started the season poorly.( PICTURE: GETTY)
It is said that Arsene Wenger has already looking at other options and yesterday it was reported that Arsenal have completed the signing of Nabil Fekir. It is said that the manager is in advanced talks with Lyon over deal for their playmaker so there won’t be making a move for Lemar in January according to reports.
The gunners are currently 6th on the English Premier League table with only 19 points which is quite too low for a top club like Arsenal so the North Londoners will be under pressure from the supporters because they have underperformed this season, even suffering embarrassing defeats from Liverpool and Watford. Arsenal are going to have to first release some players in January if they would wish to sign some more players this upcoming winter transfer window.
