The gunners defeated Tottenham Hotspur yesterday after Arsenal showed classy display against their arch rivals.

Arsenal played this weekend’s early kick off yesterday as they hosted Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates stadium as they hoped to get back to winning ways and they indeed performed well, defeating Spurs 2-0 thanks to goals from Shkodran Mustafi and Alexis Sanchez.

Former English Premier League star and legend Alan Shearer says that was very happy with the performance of the gunners for holding the on form Spurs squad saying that they used a great tactic yesterday.

“I criticised them for their lack of pressing at Man City but they were brilliant at it.’ the retired footballer is quoted by MIRROR.

‘They just got it perfect. They didn’t allow Spurs to play, it was a perfect performance.’

The gunners were very outstanding in the North London derby because they this time played with confidence something which wasn’t seen when they made a visit to the Etihad stadium with the match ending 3-1 in favour of un beaten Manchester City. Most gooners will be hoping that the squad builds from this un expected North London derby win to make a good run of wins because they have been underperforming in the recent past weeks.

Most football analysts have praised Arsene Wenger for the great tactics he implemented yesterday because he was accused for making hasty poor decisions when his team is facing a top team with a great example being that Arsenal changed their formation when they faced the citizens two weeks ago, a something which showed that the manager isn’t sure about his tactics and formations which is very bad because players won’t know their exact positions if formations are changed frequently.

Arsenal won yesterday but they are still in the 6th position because the clubs above them also obtained three points apart from their opponents Spurs.
