The gunners signed Alexandre Lacazette in the summer transfer window this year on a record fee of £52 million breaking Arsenal‘s spending record.

The gunners obtained three services of the French international about 6 months ago after the supporters had for long been urging Arsene Wenger to buy a world class striker and the manager followed the advice and brought the supporters the Lyon star who was scoring 20+ goals in the French league.

The Arsenal new signing has faced a lot of criticism from the football pundits and even the gooners themselves who say he isn’t performing depending on their expectations but Petr Cech has made some comments on the player and why he might not be scoring many goals;

“Alex is a very intelligent player. The way he plays the game, obviously he has adapted quickly to the way we play.’ the goalkeeper is quoted by MIRROR SPORT.

‘I think we as a team, we need to get more out of him because sometimes he makes a very good movement but the ball does not arrive every time at the right moment,’ continued the keeper.

‘I think it is a matter of time. But for a player who has just come to the Premier League, I think he had a pretty good run.”

There has been some football pundits and analysts who have for long been criticising the French international who has just arrived at the Emirates stadium, their criticism has been backed by Arsenal supporters who believe that their club was robbed suggesting that Alexandre Lacazette is not worth the amount the gunners paid for him.

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has so far scored only 8 goals since the English Premier League but some think that isn’t enough to name him as a successful signing but Petr Cech says that he is a good signing because it isn’t common for a player who has never played in the English league to easily adapt to the playing style of the teams. The Arsenal boss trusts the French international so much because he has started most matches as the gunners leading forward but the problem which has arisen is that Arsene Wenger also has Olivier Giroud as another forward.

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
