The gunners played against Manchester United on Saturday and were defeated 3-1 by the red devils after a poor display from the Arsenal squad.

The gunners were going to host the Manchester club and the Arsenal manager confirmed that his club was going to be without Alexandre Lacazette because he has an injury but surprisingly the Frenchman was given a start and even scored.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was overjoyed about the win of his team and when he gave the latest team news about his club ahead of the derby and said some comments which was surely sending towards Arsene Wenger.

“Do you want the truth, the truth is Bailly, no chance. Jones and Fellaini a chance, Zlatan a big chance and Matic is injured but will play. No stories of Lacazette or Silva. All the truth.” the manager is quoted by MIRROR SPORT.

The gunners were surprised and very happy when their record signing Alexandre Lacazette was in the lineup against the red devils because the manager has said he ain’t available but Arsene Wenger has today responded to the comments of Jose Mourinho by saying he didn’t know that the Frenchman was gonna be fit for the match;

“I thought he would not play but in the end he could, What did you want me to do? Leave him at home.’ the manager is quoted by MIRROR SPORT.

‘I am always honest. I thought really he wouldn’t play. That is what I was told. He had a test on Friday morning, then even when he went to the game we were not sure if he would play.”

The two managers have never been in good terms before ever since they joined the English Premier League and there isn’t something you can identify as something that caused the rivalry between the two world class managers. They usually make inciting comments towards each other.

Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger once almost fought on the touchline when the Portuguese manager was still at Chelsea in a Community Shield match some few years ago.

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
