The gunners have been negotiating with Borussia Dortmund forward a week now over a possible transfer of Aubamayeng to the Emirates stadium in this January transfer window.
The gunners have been under performing this season and the supporters will be hoping to see the club get more signings in order to compete with the other teams in the English Premier League who have huge budgets.
Arsene Wenger has been asked about the progress of the deal but he seems like he doesn’t want to reveal the main update but here’s what he had to say;
“I cannot tell you more. We have nothing to announce today and at the moment we stay where we are.’ the manager is quoted by MIRROR SPORT.
‘We have added Mkhitaryan, lost Sanchez and our squad is stable. If anything else happens I would say I don’t know. It is still possible but we are far from being close.”

The gunners have always been linked with the Gabon international but the other transfer windows have been just rumors but this time’s interest seems to be genuine because they have so far made two official bids which have both been rejected by Borussia Dortmund.
Most football analysts are hoping that Arsene Wenger completes this deal because it would be a great addition to the squad who are currently finding it hard to convert their chances to goals so bringing Aubamayeng would be an outstanding signing of the decade the gunners have ever bought.
