Southampton Becomes Latest Club To Make Move For Jack Wilshere
Arsenal have likely given up on persuading Jack Wilshere to stay at the Emirates Stadium and Southampton becomes latest club to show interest in him.
It is not yet official but Jack Wilshere is certainly on his way out of Arsenal this summer transfer window after the English international has not yet signed a new deal which the club offered him.
Southampton has also joined the list of clubs that are interested in Jack Wilshere whose contract will be expiring in a few days from now so the Saints also want to sign the 26-year-old according to the Mirror. Arsenal are ready to replace Wilshere this summer after they have reportedly made a move for Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira who could join the gunners this month according to various sources.
Jack Wilshere was willing to stay at the Emirates Stadium according to reports but it is said that the midfielder changed his mind after he had a meeting with Arsenal’s new manager Unai Emery who told him that he isn’t in his plans for next season so the player decided to start a new chapter elsewhere, where he will be a regular in the starting lineup.
Southampton are known to have skillful players in their squad so the Saints will be hoping to sign Wilshere on a free transfer because he could fit well in their playing style at the St Mary’s Stadium.
