Arsenal was linked with Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele at the beginning of this month and the rumours continued for a while but the hype has reduced ever since the gunners went on their pre-season tour to Singapore but new reports suggest that the North Londoners might have an opportunity to sign the talented forward.

Barcelona signed Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund for £135.5 million but the Frenchman has faced difficulties in his first season at the Spanish club and there have been rumours that they might consider sending him out on loan with the gunners ready to make a move if Barca shows that intention.

It is however been reported by Sport that the gunners might get final chance to sign Dembele after the report claimed that the forward is frustrated with the Spanish champions because they spent £36.5million to sign Malcom yet they literally play the same position and he isn’t interested in having a competitor at Barcelona.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery also said that he isn’t done with transfers this summer and even confirmed that he might sign one more player if the right opportunity comes, and it’s claimed that he has told the top executives at Arsenal that his current squad is missing a top winger so getting Ousmane Dembele on loan would be important for the new gunners boss.

It is no secret that the gunners can’t permanently sign Ousmane Dembele in this transfer window because Unai Emery has already reached the limit of the budget which the Arsenal board gave him so their only option would be persuading Barcelona to let the French international leave on loan.

Ousmane Dembele has struggled at Barcelona in the 2017/18 season and the Barca fans have questioned his ability with most claiming that they wasted a big sum of money on the player for nothing.
