Chelsea new manager Maurizio Sarri has identified Arsenal’s midfielder Aaron Ramsey as the perfect player which would strengthen his squad so the new boss of the blues will make a last-minute move for the Welsh international before the transfer window closes.
Aaron Ramsey hasn’t signed a new deal to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium because his current contract at the club says that the central midfielder will be a free agent after the end of the 2018/19 season and the club has been in negotiations with him for months now but they haven’t come to an agreement yet up to now even though the club is eager to keep him.
Chelsea have been interested in Aaron Ramsey for a long time now but they didn’t try to sign him this summer until this week because their new manager wants the midfielder at the Stamford Bridge according to the Daily Mail which claims that Maurizio Sarri will make a bid for the Arsenal man in the upcoming days but the North Londoners will likely reject it because they can’t get a replacement in these remaining days of the transfer window.
Arsenal new manager Unai Emery has also even said that he hopes to create a squad around Aaron Ramsey so which means that the Spanish manager would hugely be disappointed in the club if they decided to let go of Aaron Ramsey this summer because of the money which Chelsea offer, Emery even recently claimed that he had told the club’s top officials that Ramsey is an important player of him and that they should offer him a new deal as soon as possible.
Aaron Ramsey also said in an interview that nothing had been agreed yet on offering him a new deal and said that he has let all that to his agent who will give him feedback when they get to a conclusion with Arsenal so these new rumours linking him to Chelsea seem unrealistic.
