Jack Wilshere: I Have Respect For Unai Emery
Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has revealed that he has no hard feelings towards Unai Emery even though the manager told him that he can’t guarantee him enough playing time.

England international and former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere who refused to renew his contract with the gunners last summer following his meeting with Unai Emery, he has moved to Premier League Club West Ham United.
Jack Wilshere says that he has ‘nothing but respect’ for Unai Emery after the Spaniard made it obvious he had no future at Arsenal as he would like to build a team of his own choice.
Arsenal offered Wilshere another contract to stay at the North London club yet the 26-year-old felt he had no alternative yet to leave after talking with Unai Emery who opened up to him that he wasn’t guaranteed enough playing time next season.
Be that as it may, Wilshere reveals that there’s no anger between himself and Emery and says the Spaniard acted splendidly.
‘I have nothing but respect for him (Emery). Wilshere told Metro Sport.
“We had a meeting and he told me that I was not going to play as much as I wanted so that was difficult for him and I thank him for that. He could have said, Yes you are going to play.”
Jack Wilshere however also said that he believes he made the right decision to leave the gunners this summer because he would have later left the club the next season because of no enough playing time at the Emirates Stadium.
