Unai Emery Makes One Change In Arsenal’s Playing Style
Arsenal played it’s first match under Unai Emery yesterday and there’s something in the gunners playing style which was observed in their win against Boreham Wood.
Arsenal appointed Unai Emery as gunners new boss in May after the departure of Arsene Wenger who left the club after finishing at the club two decades but the North London team has finally tested change.
Something extraordinary was noticed in Arsenal’s win against Boreham Wood, and it’s something which the Arsenal players have spent without seeing when the gunners are playing.
Arsenal players were seen shooting outside the box which shows that the new manager Unai Emery isn’t doing his tactics the same way as Arsene Wenger who used to warn players about shooting outside the penalty box because the Frenchman preferred getting goals through a combination of passes in the box.
Even though excessive shooting outside the penalty box may however make players change from Arsenal’s traditional playing style of tick tack but the Arsenal supporters are eager for change so they could accept this since they are desperate for silverware in the upcoming season.
Unai Emery said that he was going to respect Arsenal’s playing style of holding possession and tick tack but said that he will be hoping that his squad can also be more offensive when they don’t have the ball because this would reduce at the rate at which the gunners concede.
