Mesut Ozil recently announced his decision to retire from international football after he received strong criticism from the Germany football federation after he was pictured with the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has finally made a comment about the decision made by his player and says that they are ready to support the German international in this time where he has been hurt by his country which he says that he has given all up until now.
Mesut Ozil was selected among the squad which travelled to Singapore for the International Champions Cup which Arsenal will be participating in and the Arsenal manager made the comments from the Asian country.
“All of us want to help Mesut feel like it is his home here with us, like a family and it is a family for every player.” Unai Emery told Arsenal.com.
“He feels here with us that he can work every day, and it is good for us that he decided to come here and work with us before our two matches.”
Unai Emery said in the past that he was going to rejuvenate Mesut Ozil in the upcoming season as he hopes that the German international will be at his best in his first season because he hopes that it could be a success.
