Unai Emery Reveals What He Thinks Of His Squad On Winning EPL In The Upcoming Season
Unai Emery held his first interview at the London Coloney and was asked on what he thinks about his current squad ahead of the upcoming season which starts in August.
The new manager Unai Emery in charge of Arsenal has been involved recently in an interview where he has spoken on the club’s transfer, training, his first game in charge and how new developments can be brought to the Emirates.
With just two months in charge, after taking up the Arsenal manager job from Arsene Wenger who spent 22 years at the North London club, Unai Emery has brought in five new players into the club this summer, the likes of Stephan Leichsteiner on a free transfer, Sokratis Papasthopoulous from Juventus, Brend Leno from Bayer Leverkuson, Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria and Matteo Guendouzi from Lorient.
He tipped this players to perform well at the club next season and he is confident that the team will do excellently during his new tenure at the Emirates. When asked if he believes that the current squad he has will be able to win the Premier League title next season, he said;
“Let’s go step by step. We need to do it this way, working and thinking with our minds. For me, the position is for the team to get better day by day, and we plan for the first match against Manchester City.” he told Arsenal.com.
