Arsenal Gets Two Major Injury Blows Ahead Of 2018/19 Season
Arsenal has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey and Sead Kolasinac won’t be taking part in their friendly match against Lazio on Saturday because they have sustained injuries.
The gunners have suffered two major injury blows ahead of the 2018/19 season after the club has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey and Sead Kolasinac won’t be taking part in Arsenal’s friendly match against Lazio on Saturday in Stockholm.
A statement from Arsenal read that Aaron Ramsey had developed tightness in his right calf and that he was going to be assessed next week before they decide whether he can train with the rest of the Arsenal squad after their return from Sweden.
It is however a different story with Sead Kolasinac after a statement on Arsenal’s official website claims that the defender has been ruled out for 8-10 weeks due to the knee injury which he sustained in the friendly match against Chelsea in Dublin.
This is a major problem for Unai Emery because he won’t have any options if Nacho Monreal gets injured at the start of the season and Aaron Ramsey’s injury becoming worse would ruin the plans of the new Arsenal manager because he says that he hopes to create his squad around the Welsh international, furthermore he believes that the midfielder is the perfect leader in the Arsenal squad.
Sead Kolasinac will be hoping to make a return soon because Nacho Monreal is going to take this chance to impress the new manager and own the Arsenal left back position but the Bosnian international won’t be seen on the pitch until late November.
