Chelsea 3-2 Arsenal Match Report
Arsenal still has 0 points on the Premier League table after Chelsea defeated them today on a score of 3-2.
The gunners have today lost against Chelsea as the blues won the match on a score of 3-2 even though Unai Emery’s men put on a big effort to return to the match after they were two goals down.
The gunners started off the match while they were already on pressure because it was quite clear that the players were not confident and the blues took advantage of this as they oppressed the North Londoners until they got the opening goal through Pedro who scored after a quick counter attack by the West Londoners.
Arsenal could have equalised a few minutes after conceding the first goal because Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made got a good chance to score but miserably failed, the Chelsea team then showed the gunners how one can score as they got their second goal of the day through Morata.
Arsenal players looked to have lost hope of getting back to the match because it’s not always easy for them to get back into a match when they are two goals down but they showed commitment and they finally scored their first goal of the season through Henrikh Mkhitaryan to make it 2-1.
The gunners became sharp in the last minutes of the first half and got their second goal thanks to Alex Iwobi who scored in the 41st minute of the match. The first half ended when the score board was reading 2-2.
Arsenal fans were expecting a better second half since Unai Emery was going to meet his squad to give it more instructions but it was very horrible because Chelsea controlled the match until the refree blew the wistle for full-time. Unai Emery brought in Torreira for Xhaka at the start of the second half.
Aaron Ramsey also later replaced Mesut Ozil in the 68th minute and Alexandre Lacazette was also then later brought in, replacing Alex Iwobi who scored Arsenal’s second goal.
The blues finally got the winning goal in the 81st minute of the match after Chelsea’s Alonso put the ball into the back of the net, ending Unai Emery’s hopes of getting his first point in the Premier League.
Unai Emery still has a lot of work to do.
