Exclusive: Unai Emery To Start Both Lacazette And Aubameyang Against West Ham
The gunners will be playing West Ham United next and we believe that Unai Emery will finally start both Lacazette and Aubameyang in the starting lineup.
Unai Emery lost his second match of the season yesterday when the gunners took on Chelsea and one of the few things which have made the Arsenal supporters criticize the manager is because he decided to bench Alexandre Lacazette in such an important match.
The Arsenal manager started the French striker on bench against Manchester City and he brought him later in the second half after the gunners failed to score against Pep Guardiola’s men, his arrival on the pitch proved to be a wise decision because he linked up well with Aubameyang and created some chances even though they failed to score.
Arsenal fans were expecting to see him in the starting lineup against Chelsea on Saturday but it seems Unai Emery wanted to try playing a solo striker once more, and his decision back fired because the gunners failed to get many chances because their attack line was weak, and Aubameyang who started the match missed clear chances which should he should have put into the back of the net.
We believe that, Arsenal’s new boss Unai Emery will finally give in to the requests of Arsenal fans and start both Lacazette and Aubameyang against West Ham United because him starting one striker has turned out to be a disaster and the poor display from Aubameyang will have made the manager reconsider using the two strikers at the same time.
It seems that Unai Emery has already decided to use a formation which uses only one striker and he isn’t ready to change it, just to accommodate Alexandre Lacazette but the good thing is that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has already confirmed that he would be ready to play on the wing if needed so that they can play with the Frenchman (Lacazette).
Unai Emery has said that all the matches his squad is playing is all in the learning process but the Arsenal fans need results because the Premier League is a very tough league so losing six points in the first two weeks into the new season is very bad.
