Unai Emery Makes Statement After Loss Against Chelsea
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has made a statement after his team lost for the second time in a row and he says that he was happy with the reaction of players after they were two goals down.

Chelsea defeated Arsenal 3-2 in a five goal thriller at Stamford Bridge and this is a big disappointment to the Arsenal fans who thought that this was going to be their first win of the season after losing against Manchester City last week.
The match started poorly for the gunners today as Chelsea got an early lead through Pedro in the ninth minute and later got a second through striker Alvaro Morata making it 2-0 for the West Londoners.
Later in the half Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang blazed over from close range. Henrikh Mkhitaryan wasted a similar opportunity before pulling one back with a low shot that Chelsea’s new £71m keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga should have saved before Alex Iwobi put the Gunners on level terms with a neat finish to make it 2-2 at halftime.
Aubameyang and Iwobi missed further chances before half-time before Chelsea controlled the second half, Alonso sweeping in substitute Eden Hazard’s cross nine minutes from time made it successive wins for Sarri and two defeats for new Arsenal manager Unai Emery.
What Emery had to say;
“I think today, the team already after 2-0, the reaction was very good. In the first half, I think we created more chances to score and I think the 2-2 is a shock for us because we created more chances to score.” the manager told Arsenal’s official website.
“We need to continue working for what we want, our process. Today we had two midfielders – one 19 and one 21 years old. We need to give them the confidence to play but our way, our process, is to improve and give these chances to the young players. I think today will prepare us well for the next matches.”
“In the second half, we had less moments in the match and we conceded more chances for Chelsea to score the third goal. For that reason, we need the balance but the result is like that.”
The manager also continued and said that his main aim is to keep improving his squad and says that they will work on the balancing of defensive and attacking moments.
Arsenal will play West Ham United next weekend and then play Cardiff City in September.
