Key Difference Between Arsene Wenger and Unai Emery
Arsene Wenger and Unai Emery are very different in their way of doing things but there’s one major difference between the two coaches.
Arsenal is now under the coaching of a new person for the first time in two decades and he is called Unai Emery, the Spanish coach has completed changed the team and he is doing fine in his first season so far.
Arsenal has in the past been well-known as a club which plays attractive football and Arsene Wenger maintained that in all the years he spent at the North London club, even though the Frenchman’s team would sometimes lose but the fans would still appreciate the good football their team played.
But as the world changes, we now have too much competitiveness, the fans trolling other teams on social networks like Twitter, the Arsenal fans were now tired of their team playing beautiful football which resulted into no trophies apart from the recent FA Cup triumphs and now demanded for the sacking of Arsene Wenger because he wasn’t gonna give them results they want because he wants to maintain Arsenal’s traditional playing style.
Arsene Wenger was however not sacked even though Arsenal fans even made protests about it because the Frenchman had a close relationship with the board who also believed in him. Wenger resigned from his position as the manager of Arsenal after the end of last season.
Then there came Unai Emery who became Arsenal’s new boss after some spells with Paris Saint Germain and Sevilla and he did win some trophies with those clubs. The Spanish manager has shown that he is a lot different from his predecessor because he has shown that he is a man who cares about results, even though his team wins a match in an ugly way.
He lost his first two competitive matches but he has since gone on a winning streak of nine games but if you actually see Arsenal’s style of play in these matches, you can clearly say that it isn’t interesting as one would hope so until they score those important goals but they make sure to get that valuable win no matter what.
The new Arsenal boss has shown that he isn’t an entertainer but a person who understands what the fans need and that is; wins and trophies, so it will be interesting to see whether the gunners will be able to win some silverware this season.
