Arsenal signed both Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang last season in two different transfer windows and the two forwards have become important players at the Emirates Stadium this season under new gunners boss Unai Emery.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has given both a chance to play as a solo striker but they have shown that they are better when played together, and the coach has accepted that and, has started using them together and they have scored nine goals together this season.

Competition between Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was expected once the Gabon international was signed in the 2018 January transfer window but it’s been really funny how the two strikers have formed friendship which has excited the Arsenal supporters. Aubameyang and Lacazette always comprehend each other when on and off the pitch.

Lacazette and Aubameyang scored two goals for the gunners two weeks ago when they made a visit to Fulham and the Frenchman has spoken about their competition.

“There is no competition over who scored more goals.Maybe in training we do because it helps us to improve but not in the weekend.” Alexandre Lacazette told Sky Sports.

“If Auba scores 40 goals, we finish in the Champions League and win something then I will be happy.”

Arsenal supporters will be hoping to see their two strikers at their best because it’s not good for a club like the gunners to be out of the UEFA Champions League for two consecutive seasons.

There are rumours that Unai Emery might use the 4-4-2 formation against Leicester City on Monday so that he doesn’t frustrate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang by playing him on the wing.

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
