Alexandre Lacazette arrived at Arsenal in the 2017 summer transfer window and this is his second season at the Emirates Stadium. The gunners completed the signing of Matteo Guendouzi from Lorient in the summer this year and the youngster has got to link up well with some of his country mates like Laurent Koscielny and Alexandre Lacazette.
Matteo Guendouzi has been impressive for the gunners this season yet most of the Arsenal fans thought that Unai Emery was going to send him to the under-23 squad because he is just 19 years old. Alexandre Lacazette has on the hand been at Arsenal for a year now and was happy with the signing of his country mate Matteo Guendouzi, he has revealed why he always enjoys hanging out with Guendouzi.
“Matteo came over from France in the summer and we spend a lot of time with him.” said Alexandre Lacazette as reported by Metro.
“He’s young and maybe when he signed he didn’t know too much about the professional life at a big club, so we had to help him with some things. It’s nice because he is happy to learn and we always have fun together.”
Matteo Guendouzi has become a fan favourite at Arsenal in just a few months because the fans weren’t expecting such great performances from a teenager in a competitive league like the Premier League. Arsenal has over the years shown how it’s like a family and that feeling is still there as we have seen players like Aubameyang and Lacazette having good friendship.
Arsenal’s next match will be against Sporting Lisbon and Unai Emery will probably include Matteo Guendouzi in the starting eleven.
