Arsenal takes on Wolves this evening at the Emirates Stadium and it’s going to be a thrilling game because the visitors have been impressive against big teams this season. The gunners will on the other hand come into this game with the target of getting three points so that they could put pressure on the Premier League top four.
Tottenham Hotspur defeated Crystal Palace yesterday and they are now four points ahead of Arsenal and this means the gunners will stay in the fifth position even if they get the three points from Wolves today. Unai Emery will need to also look at those teams behind him because any single mistake he does, could see his team get far away from the Premier League top four so the gunners coach needs to win this match before they go into the international break.
Wolves lost 2-3 to Spurs last weekend and this match showed how they have great fighting spirit which almost made Arsenal’s arch rivals drop three points so it will be a big mistake for the North Londoners to underestimate their opponents. Arsenal made a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace a few weeks ago and I believe that we might get to see a similar game today if the gunners let Wolves exploit their defence.
Even though the gunners are in an injury crisis, I believe Unai Emery is going to use his best squad against Wolves because there’s an international break after, so this will be two weeks of no club football, it will give some of his injured players enough time to fully return.
