Aubameyang and Lacazette stats in the Premier League
Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have been impressive for the gunners this season so here are stats for their performance in the Premier League.
Arsenal is currently in the fifth position on the Premier League table and you can’t deny that both Aubameyang and Lacazette have helped them bounce back after losing their first two matches against Chelsea and Manchester City. So here’s a closer to look at their stats in the Premier League and synopsis.
ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE
APPEARANCES: 12
GOALS: 05
ASSISTS: 2
Unai Emery benched Alexandre Lacazette in their first three matches and one would have thought that this would let to him lose his confidence but it didn’t, he fought his way to the first eleven of Unai Emery and has so far scored five goals and made two assists in his 12 appearances for Arsenal in the Premier League. His equalising goal against Liverpool was very important and beautiful because he made a great turn in the box and sent the ball past Alisson Becker.
PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG
APPEARANCES: 12
GOALS: 07
ASSISTS: 01
The Gabon international has been impressive for the gunners this season and is currently their Premier League top scorer as he has scored seven goals. Unai Emery had the idea of using the former Borussia Dortmund star as a solo striker while benching Lacazette but it was evident that it failed to work because the gunners lost their first two matches even though they were against top sides.
Aubameyang has however been paired with Lacazette in some matches and has some times come into the game as a substitute but ended up scoring goals.
So basically, Arsenal’s two main forwards have both made 12 Premier League appearances for the gunners this season and have scored a combined total of 12 goals.
