Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang grabbed the winner for Arsenal in a crucial match against Bournemouth this afternoon. Arsenal gets back to winning ways after three consecutive draws in all competitions with a 2-1 over Bournemouth.

Arsenal took the lead in an extraordinary fashion, when Bournemouth’s Jefferson Lerma volleyed emphatically past his own keeper. The home side were soon level though, when a quick counter attack was finished off superbly by Josh King’s curler into the top corner.

Aubameyang then got the Gunners back in front in the second half, tapping in Kolasinac’s cross. Bournemouth continued to look threatening as they won a free kick in the last minute that was close to being a penalty. Bernd Leno continued his impressive form with magnificent saves to keep Arsenal in the game.

Arsenal have now extended their unbeaten run to 17 across all competitions however they are yet to lead a Premier League game at halftime this season which is something very bad indicating their reliance on the second half.

Aubameyang scored his 18th goal for Arsenal in the league 14 of which have come on a Sunday and is now joint top scorer with Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero. Arsenal remain 5th but have closed the gap to just 1 point after Chelsea lost to Spurs. Arsenal play Spurs and Man United next and a trip to Vorskla in the Europa League this Thursday.
